Customer works in Steel industry, requiring a management software to improve operation on coil processing
Challenges
• Operators write on cards to record data, which will then be collected manually for further processes
• An application is exployed to manage and print Delivery Minute, Delivery Slip, built on MS Access and MS SQL Server
• Numerous inventory data files to keep track on (500 – 700 files), since each file corresponds a product code, and each sheet in the file corresponds a production lot
• Inaccurate inventory/delivery
• Impossible to track/adjust inventory in real-time
